I assure you Enma Ai will be revived, or the 3rd season is a huge failure.
The producers know how popular Enma is, and by 'killing her off' they only assure a huge popularity decrease of the 3rd long awaited (by Enma Ai fans) season.

well as you said...nothing about 3rd season was released yet,just only that 3rd season is being confirmed.Enma Ai is indeed dead,so a high chance 3rd season will not be using her as Jigoku Shoujo.
